The wireless communication equipments use atmosphere and electromagnetic waves as a transmission medium
The RF techology means the ability to design and applicate various devices which can directly transmit and receive the electromagetic waves in atmosphere, like antenna.
The devices are PA and HPA which can be used to amplify the power being delivered to the antenna, and various kinds of filters which can be used to extract the wanted signal from the receiving stage, and LNA which can be used to choose the signal having a proper value, and DUPLEX which enables one antenna to transmit and receive simultaneously.
Recently, persnal mobile wireless communication like TRS or PCS is widely in use and IMT-2000 is introduced as a next generation of multimedia communication.
These are majority motive for increasing the demands explosively on the RF devices and system engeering at the persnal terminating equipments and the relaying devices.
As a result, the RF technology becomes the first criterion to judge the technological capability of a company.
The RF technology shows different features on different frequencies.
Therefore Saracom Co., Ltd, we have been developing and manufacturing various kinds of wireless devices using from low frequency in maritime radio communications to microwaves.
these are one of aspects to show it's technological capability and vision of the RF devices and system engeering.
In addition, the RF technology must be applied to all kinds of wireless devices including mobile communications, so it will be the very basis of developing new devices and systems.

Recently we have developed network software such as web service on the internet to provide e-mail service between ship and shore on the internet, which enables us to take a giant step forward in our technological ability of various kinds of software.
3. Control Technology
Control technology is widey applied in navigation and communication. With the technology we have developed a product which can control rudder automatically comparing the present location with the destination to enable auto pilot. We will soon develop Gyro-compass which shows ship's heading by calculationg spinnig velocity of the earth with a motor spinning at high speed.
We have taken a patent about the technology of Gyro-compass. The contol technology is also applied in communications to get a reliable quality of communications by holding the antenna versatile being independent of ship's waving by the waves and making it always toward the satellite by tracking the geostationary orbit satellite.
